What’s new at WebberZone in February 2026
Date: 16 April 2026
Hi Reader 👋,
The last several months have been very busy for the WebberZone team of one. I’ve been working on several plugins simultaneously with a view to building reusable modules across all my plugins. The largest module is my Settings API, which powers the settings pages of all my plugins. Additionally, the Media Handler has undergone a major revamp to improve performance.
I’m pleased to say that over the course of this month, I’ve released two major plugin updates and pushed a minor release of Better Search.
Contextual Related Posts v4.2
This feature-packed release brings several new features for Contextual Related Posts Pro users and improvements for everyone.
WooCommerce integration
CRP Pro now comprehensively understands products in your WooCommerce store. You can index WooCommerce product data, filter it by product taxonomies, and generate truly relevant related products. This approach goes beyond simply linking related posts to products; it employs product-aware logic. If you manage an online store, this feature will transform how you showcase related products.
WP-CLI support
You can now manage CRP Pro directly from the terminal. Clear cache, process content, manage indexing, and handle custom tables—all without accessing wp-admin. This is especially important for managing large sites or multiple installs.
Also included
- Multisite tools to copy settings across the network.
- Cleaner meta handling.
- Caching refinements.
- Media and styling improvements.
Top 10 v4.2.0
This version brings control to you.
Network-wide statistics
Whilst you could view the popular posts across the network previously, this version adds a new dashboard that lets Top 10 Pro users see aggregated popular post data across the entire network, just as they see the single-site data.
If you manage multiple properties, this changes how you spot trends.
Remember to click the bar to view the top posts for that day.
High-traffic tracking mode
Some sites don’t get “a bit” of traffic. They get slammed.
There’s now a high-traffic tracking mode built for that reality. Completely bypassing WordPress, this is designed for steady traffic tracking for those busy times.
Practical improvements
- A settings wizard to help users better configure Top 10.
- Pro users get a compact dashboard widget for quick insights.
- An option to hide the admin bar entry.
- Query improvements and internal clean-ups that make everything more predictable.
Nothing flashy. Just tighter engineering.
I have a small request
If you use my plugins and they help your site, please leave a review.
Reviews do three things:
- They help other users decide.
- They keep the plugins visible in the WordPress directory (which I personally think is very broken).
- They tell me what actually matters to you.
If you’ve been running Contextual Related Posts, Top 10 or Better Search for a while, a short, honest review goes a long way.
You can leave one here:
Even a few sentences help. And yes, I read every single one.
What's coming in March
As I mentioned above, I've been working on several plugins simultaneously. This includes a release to WebberZone Snippetz and the launch of Knowledge Base Pro. I've also submitted a plugin to WordPress.org for the first time in over a decade. The queue is long. But I do hope to release this in March.
Best regards,
P.S. Have questions? I am always happy to help!
